Scope
This policy applies to all Valtoric applications distributed via the Atlassian Marketplace.
Specific functionality and data access may vary by application, but all Valtoric apps follow the principles outlined in this policy.
Our Architecture
Valtoric applications are built on Atlassian Forge.
This means:
Data is processed within Atlassian-managed infrastructure
Authentication is handled by Atlassian accounts
We do not operate or manage separate data storage systems for customer data
As a result, Valtoric does not store customer data outside Atlassian-managed systems.
Information Accessed by Our Applications
Valtoric applications may access configuration metadata from your Jira instance in order to deliver functionality such as analysis, insights, and reporting.
This may include:
Custom fields
Screens
Workflows
Filters
Boards
Projects
Configuration metadata related to these artifacts
We access only the data necessary to deliver the functionality of each application.
Personal Data
Valtoric applications are designed to operate on configuration metadata rather than personal data.
We do not collect, store, or process personal data outside of the Atlassian environment, and we do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data.
How We Use Information
We use accessed data strictly to:
Analyze Jira configuration and dependencies
Generate insights such as usage patterns and system visibility
Provide reports and exports requested by users
We do not use customer data for advertising, profiling, or resale.
Data Storage and Retention
Valtoric applications are designed to minimize data storage.
No customer data is stored outside Atlassian infrastructure
Processing occurs within Atlassian Forge
Any temporary data is limited to what is required for functionality
Data Sharing
Valtoric does not sell, share, or transfer customer data to third parties.
Data is only processed within Atlassian infrastructure and APIs required to deliver functionality.
Security
Valtoric applications are built on the Atlassian Forge platform, which provides:
A secure execution environment
Strong isolation between customer installations
Encryption in transit and at rest
Valtoric also follows security best practices including access control, secure handling of secrets, and controlled deployments.
For more information, please refer to our Security Policy.
User Control
Users retain control of their data through their Atlassian account and workspace settings.
